about us

We are a family owned and operated business since 1966 when John Bloss senior bought his first tree transplanting machine and started the first tree transplanting business in Michigan. He then had the amazing idea to mount the machine on a large truck, a concept that was later adapted by all transplanting machine manufacturers.
Today the company is owned and managed by John Randall Bloss {Randy} and still specialized in tree transplanting. Blacy Tree Transplant is based in Milan, Michigan and serves southeast Michigan with 3 different size spades.

This size is good for deciduous trees 1 to 2 inches trunk diameter or evergreen trees 5 to 7 feet

Very large trees

Every once in a while we are called upon to move very large trees. It is possible to move them with other special equipment like cranes and bulldozers.
